WHEN CAN I BOOK A LODGE IN BWINDI?

Before you book any lodge in bwindi,its important that you first get a gorilla permit. This is because bwindi is massive forest and as such has four tracking sectors some of which are distant away from each other. The gorilla permit prescribes which sector you will be tracking from. Therefore its important that your lodge is in the sector you will be tracking from or can be accessed from the nearly sector. Otherwise you may miss tracking because you stayed too far. There is an option of swapping permits of one sector to another but only if there is available space and you are willing to pay a swap surcharge of 150$ per permit.
