Day 01: Begin your 5 Day Ishasha tree climbing lions and Kazinga channel Safari
You will be picked from your lodge early morning to drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Embrace Africa gorilla Vacation’s guide will first brief you on what to expect, drive time and ensure that you have the right gear for your 5 Day Ishasha tree climbing lions and Kazinga channel safari. This journey will take you through small towns along Kampala-Mbarara road. You will have an opportunity to see royal drum makers along the way, small markets and a stop at the Equator for stretching and photography will be worthwhile. Lunch will be served en route and then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a short relaxation and an evening game drive if time allows.

Day 02: Morning game drive and afternoon Kazinga Boat cruise
After an early morning cup of coffee or tea, you will drive to Kasenyi plains for your game drive design for you. Kasenyi plains boost of several wild animals whose chance of seeing them depends on your luck of the day. On a good day, you may spot big cats like lions and leopards hunting, buffaloes, elephants, several antelopes, warthogs and other small mammals. Return to the lodge for lunch and then drive to Mweya peninsular for a two hour boat cruise on Kazinga channel. Kazinga channel has the highest concentration of hippos in the whole world, over 400 water bird species and is a place where most animals converge to drink water. You will have high chances of spotting hippos, birds, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and so much more. Retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Drive to Ishasha
Enjoy and early morning game drive, check out of your Lodge and drive 2-3 hours to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park otherwise known as Ishasha. Enjoy your picnic lunch at Ishasha river which stands at the border separating Congo from Uganda. After relaxation and photography head for afternoon game drive in the southern part of is has Ishasha that is inter passed with many fig and acacia trees that lions like to climb. Check them in search of the tree climbing lions and there after drive to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 04: Morning and afternoon game drives in Ishasha
Early morning, head out for early game drive in the northern plains of Ishasha in search of illusive hynas before they enter their hideouts. This game drive also provides an opportunity to encounter Large herds of topics, kobs, waterbucks,Buffaloes, elephants and with luck lions and leopards. After combing the northern plains,you can give your self another chance in the southern to search for the tree climbing lions in case you missed them in the evening or in case you want to look at them again. After go for your late breakfast and after noon relaxation.

Day 05: Drive back to Kampala/Entebbe International Airport
